Partners not attending a course can share a double room with a weekend student. Friday night to Sunday lunchtime, dinner B&B only £99.

Evening and Afternoon Talk fees:
These fees include refreshments after the talk, i.e. afternoon tea or drinks and canapés.
Bookings and Deposits
Day School and Talk fees must be paid in full within four working days of booking. Course places and accommodation may not be kept if payments are not received by the due dates.
Weekend Courses are subject to payment of a £50 deposit per person within four working days of booking and balance one month before the course.
If booking within one month of the course date, then full payment is required.
Deposits, Day School fees and Talk fees are non-refundable but, up to one month before the event, may be transferred to another course on one occasion, provided this is done at the time of cancellation of the original booking.
No refunds will be given and no transfers accepted for cancellations made less than one month before the event. We strongly suggest you take out your own insurance in case you have to cancel through illness or other unforeseen circumstances. For instance, many of our customers use Cancel Sure (0845 071 3929.)
Cheques:
Cheques should be made payable to “Farncombe Courses”. Acknowledgement will be sent for each booking, together with notification of the balance due and date for payment. No reminder will be sent. Changes made by students to bookings may incur an administration charge of £15.
Availability:
If, when we receive your booking and deposit, our accommodation is fully booked, we will advise you and suggest alternative accommodation within a few miles of Farncombe Estate. If all places on a course are taken, we will ask if you would like to be on the course waiting list or consider an alternative course.
Discounts:
From time to time we offer discounts on events, including our main offer, the Early Bird discount. All offers are subject to availability and are non-transferable, i.e. if used when booking a course cannot then be transferred to a different course. The discount code must be quoted at the time of booking and only one discount can be applied per course booked. Offers cannot be back-dated and, unless stated otherwise, exclude special offer Gift Vouchers and bookings for accommodation only. Our normal terms and conditions apply.
Cancellations and Refunds:
If the course of your choice does not take place because there are not enough enrolments to make it viable, we will refund your fee in full. We regret that refunds cannot be given in any other circumstances. If you are travelling from outside the UK, we suggest you contact us to check course viability before booking your travel. Farncombe Estate reserves the right to alter the content, date and time of the programme and identity of the tutor, if necessary.
Arrival and departure times:
Weekend Courses: Most courses run from Friday to Sunday. Arrival on Friday is usually from 5.00pm in time for the evening meal at 7.00pm. On Sundays, departure is normally after lunch unless you have booked to stay on for an extra night. (In which case, departure is after breakfast on Monday.) Some courses finish later on Sunday afternoon or on Monday. A few courses run on other days. These days and timings are stated in the course description.
Day Schools usually request arrival by 9.30am for a 9.45am start. They usually finish at 4.30pm.
Mobility and special needs:
If students have difficulty moving between buildings, we will arrange transport and assistance as needed. Please note, Farncombe Estate is on a steep hill.
We have four bedrooms designed specifically for wheelchair users and others with good access and spacious en-suites. Most of our bedrooms are accessible with only two or three steps. Almost all our teaching rooms are accessible without steps, as are the reception, bar and dining room.
We have some facilities to assist students with impaired hearing. We have also eight new allergy-free bedrooms. Do tell us when booking if you have any particular requirements. Room upgrades are available – please ask.
Taxis:
Return transfers from Moreton-in-Marsh railway station to Farncombe can be arranged. This service must be booked in advance and there is a £16 charge. The transfer is provided on a Friday evening with return usually after lunch on Sunday. Departure from the station is currently 5.30pm and from Farncombe on Sunday 2.30pm. Times may be altered if train timetables change. Taxi availability may be limited, so bookings should be made – and paid for – not less than 7 days prior to arrival.
Diet:
If you have special dietary needs, or any significant disability, please mention this when booking.
Pets:
You are welcome to bring your dog, subject to prior arrangement and a charge of £12 for the weekend. Dogs are not allowed in public areas or to be left unattended in bedrooms (unless in a cage.)
Guide dogs are specifically excluded from this policy, are free, and are welcome throughout the Centre.
