Actually it’s Acrylics: Boats and Harbours
Start: 23rd August 2013 at 6:00pm
End: 25th August 2013 at 2:00pm
Tutor: Arnold Lowrey
The course is suitable from beginners to more advanced levels. We will use the evocative subjects of harbours and boats to learn a range of skills, for instance painting thinly (like watercolour) to thick (using oils.)
You can paint on your preferred surface, but Arnold recommends Saunders Waterford watercolour paper, as it allows you to paint both thin and thick techniques in the same painting. The use of glazing will be demonstrated and a modicum of composition and design included. A happy atmosphere is always encouraged!
