Discover the delight of textured twiddling – create a series of 3D pieced and applied patchwork blocks. Choose to repeat one or two of these intriguing 12″ square block designs and make a small lap or cot quilt. Alternatively, construct a combination of these designs plus other innovative and ingenious block creations from Jennie’s latest book ‘Fold & Roll Patchwork Pzzazz’ for use in a sampler quilt. In the class, a wide range of different patchwork and quilting techniques will be presented in a clear, concise yet humorous way. It is hoped that the designs will be completed to a standard that will preclude them being stuffed into a drawer along with all the other UFO’s – these might actually get used for some relevant purpose. This is an ideal workshop for all sewers of any ability who enjoy fiddling with fabric and wish to learn some magical ways to manipulate material.
