Botanical Painting in Watercolour or Gouache – All Levels

Start: 31st May 2013 at 6:00pm
End: 2nd June 2013 at 2:00pm
Tutor: Simon Williams

This course will help you either begin to paint, or to develop your skills in Botanical Painting. This course will allow you to either work in watercolour or give you the opportunity to work in Gouache, depending on your choice. You will be able to work on white paper or achieve more striking results on dark mount board. This course is designed out to give you the freedom to try lesser-known approaches to botanical work. There will be a focus on painting technique and application, colour mixing and rendering detail. The class is open to all levels, but a precise rather than loose style of painting is required.
