Farncombe is set in an idyllic location and is a wonderful place to develop your sketching techniques. Learn how to create depth in your sketches, how to use perspective, light and shade, texture and line to create a record of your stay. With vast panoramic views from Farncombe’s many huge windows if the weather is inclement, and Farncombe’s beautiful landscape to explore if the weather is kind, we shall not be short of inspiration. We shall produce quick sketches and longer, more considered drawings using pencil, graphite and pen. Although we will be based in one room, we shall work from a number of locations on 320-acre Estate.
