Watercolour Painting: Lines and Washes; Painting With Panache
Start: 25th January 2013 at 6:00pm
End: 27th January 2013 at 2:00pm
This is an excellent introduction to the expressive potential of watercolours and the variety of lively drawing skills that you may later use in more controlled, detailed and larger ‘considered’ work. Our approach will be speedy, sketchy, colourful, adventurous, and flexible, encouraging you to express yourself with few constraints. Applying lively colourful washes to equally lively line drawings (or the reverse), can be a liberating experience.
You will discover new approaches and perhaps find a way of expression that particularly appeals to you and becomes a spring board for your future work. All essential materials for this course: papers, paints, brushes, pens and pencils etc. will be provided on loan at no extra cost by the tutor.
