Keith Morton
Keith’s art education was gained during four years at Hornsey College of Art.
He is an enthusiastic tutor and believes that good observation leads to good paintings.
He now tutors Portraiture, Still Life and Life workshops, demonstrates Portraiture and Still Life to art societies, undertakes commissions, and paints people he admires. To date, his most famous sitters have been the jazz pianist and composer Stan Tracey OBE and the actress Siobhan Redmond.
Keith has been short-listed for The Garrick Milne Prize, exhibited with The Discerning Eye (2008, 2009), The Royal Society of Portrait Painters (2003, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011) and The Royal Institute of Oil Painters (2010).
