By train and plane

Farncombe Estate has a central England location between Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham, which means we attract visitors from all over the UK. For full driving directions, please go to the page Directions by Road. If using Satellite Navigation, please beware that some versions may direct you to a staff entrance where you will be unable to get onto the Estate.

If you are having difficulty finding us, please ring Reception on 01386 858000 and we can talk you in, or even send someone out to find you!

Arriving by train:
We operate a £16 collection-and-return taxi service for Farncombe students arriving at Moreton-in-Marsh Station on a Friday afternoon and leaving on Sunday afternoon. Moreton-in-Marsh is on the London Paddington-to-Hereford line via Reading and Oxford. We regret that we cannot offer this service from any other station. Please request your taxi at time of booking and we will give you times and details. From Birmingham and the North, Farncombe Estate is best served via Evesham on the Cotswold Line.

International arrivals:
We are approximately one hour’s drive from Birmingham International Airport and 1.5 hours from Bristol or East Midlands.

Helipad:
If you wish to land a helicopter, please let us know at least 24 hours before you are due to arrive and we will give you instructions.
