Leisure courses and study breaks in the Cotswolds

Access For All

Committed to meeting your needs

Our hillside position gives us fantastic views – and plenty of ups and downs! There are 100 steps from Springfield House at the top of our village complex to Smallbrook House at the bottom – and more down to Maudslay Court. It would be wrong to suggest that hundreds of steps are ideal for all visitors, but our positive attitude more than makes up for the terrain.

* Eight bedrooms (including two new rooms in Maudslay Court) are designed for disabled visitors. Some have generous wet rooms, all have grab rails and a security cord
* There is full wheelchair access to our reception, bar, dining areas and most bedroom buildings
* Seven out of eight meeting rooms are accessible by wheelchair
* Guide Dogs for the Blind are allowed everywhere on site
* Blind delegates can, by arrangement, be met from their taxi and escorted to their bedrooms, with hazards explained along the way. They can also be collected when they need to move around the Estate (eg. to lecture rooms, dining room etc.)
* There are dedicated disabled parking spaces in all our car parks
* We offer delegates with severe mobility problems the option to check-in from their vehicle: staff will come out to you
* If you find it difficult to see and you’d like this website to display in a bigger font, hit ‘control’ and ‘+’ and you should zoom a page size up

“I would like to thank especially the team who looked after our elderly ladies with mobility problems and ferried them up and down the hill to meals. I hadn’t been made fully aware of the extent of the disability of one member of the course beforehand, and it would have been very difficult for her to enjoy the course without the care and help of your staff.”
